Lessons from My First Internship
Being a 14-year-old intern at a tech company has been an incredible journey. In just a few months, I've learned more than I expected about product development, design thinking, and teamwork.
The first lesson: listen to your users. Before building Cloud Family Office, we spent time understanding what families really needed. We conducted interviews, gathered feedback, and iterated on our ideas. This made a huge difference in creating something people actually want to use.
The second lesson: design matters. I learned that great design isn't just about making things look pretty—it's about making complex problems simple. When designing the Cloud Family Office interface, we focused on clarity and accessibility so that anyone could use it.
The third lesson: collaboration is everything. I work with designers, developers, and product managers, and I've realized that the best ideas come from working together. Everyone brings something unique to the table, and that diversity of thought makes the product better.
Finally: it's okay to be the youngest person in the room. My age has never been a barrier; in fact, my perspective as a young person building for families has been valuable. I'm grateful for the mentorship and support from everyone on the team.
